Greenworks Tools celebrates opening of new North American headquarters

Greenworks Tools, a manufacturer of battery-powered outdoor equipment for professionals and do-it-yourself consumers, celebrated the opening of its new North American headquarters in Mooresville, N.C., on December 15. The 40,000-square-foot office space is part of the revitalization of the 1.1-million-square-foot historic Mooresville Cotton Mill.

“Today is an important milestone in our brand’s history,” said Chris Allen, president of Greenworks Tools. “Greenworks was founded on a culture of innovation and sustainability, and we are redefining the outdoor power equipment industry. We now have a gorgeous and inspiring state-of-the-art headquarters to continue our dynamic growth. We could not be more excited.”

“I am honored that Greenworks Tools chose Mooresville,” said Russ Rogerson, executive director, Mooresville-South Iredell Economic Development Corporation. “Our business climate and quality of life continue to make us extremely attractive to business.”

The company distributes Greenworks-branded and private-label products, as well as products for an extensive network of original equipment manufacturers. Using cutting-edge technology, Greenworks develops its lightweight equipment with the same power and performance of comparable gas-powered tools, all while reducing the mess, fumes, noise and hassle associated with gas products. Greenworks’ product family consists of 24-volt, 40-volt, 60-volt, 80-volt and commercial-grade 82-volt battery-powered outdoor power equipment, including blowers, mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, chain saws and pressure washers.
