Parts department trends for Q3 revealed in dealer survey

Dealers who completed the Q3 2022 OPE Business Dealer Survey on average capitalized on strong sales in the parts department. More than half of all dealers described parts department business conditions as either “very strong” or “good.”

Survey data reveals that 20% of dealers report parts department business conditions as “Very strong,” with another 32% saying parts department business conditions were “Good” during the quarter. Another 42% responded that the parts department business conditions were “average.”

Only 6% of dealers responded that the parts department business conditions were “poor” and none said they were “very weak.”
