BOB-CAT adds new models to compact FastCat mower line
BOB-CAT has new offerings in its compact, lightweight FastCat line of zero-turn riding mowers. With new engine options in the FastCat RZ line and 2 new models in the FastCat Pro line, BOB-CAT is packing more value and premium features in these new choices.
The FastCat RZ is designed for the large-property owner who wants an affordable, commercial-quality, zero-turn mower that delivers a professional quality of cut and superior ride quality. The line now includes powerful Kawasaki FR engines with choice of 52-inch deck with a Kawasaki FR651V engine or 61-inch deck with a Kawasaki FR691V engine. The FastCat RZ is outfitted with BOB-CAT’s DuraDeck with extreme discharge system that delivers on the quality of cut and much more. FastCat RZs offer a mowing speed of up to 8 miles per hour, 9-gallon-capacity dual fuel tanks, maintenance-free cutter spindles and caster wheels, adjustable high-back spring-support seat, armrests, and adjustable drive levers that allow the RZ to custom-fit to the operator.
The FastCat Pro packs the commercial power, durability and performance of bigger machines in a smaller, lighter-weight package. The line, which currently offers models with 36-, 42- and 48-inch decks, has expanded to include 2 new larger-deck models. The new FastCat Pro 52 sports a 52-inch side-discharge deck and Kawasaki FX691V engine, while the new FastCat Pro 61 utilizes a 61-inch side-discharge deck and a Kawasaki FX730V engine. Both new models utilize canister air filtration and feature BOB-CAT’s DuraDeck with extreme discharge system, new patent-pending double-wave baffle system, extra-wide discharge opening and molded rubber chute. Dual Hydro-Gear ZT-3400 hydrostatic transaxle independent drives with 12-cc pumps deliver smooth maneuverability. Coupled with 23-inch drive wheels and 13-inch caster wheels, operators can cruise at speeds up to 10 mph. Nine-gallon-capacity dual fuel tanks keep operators mowing with less downtime in refueling. A new custom seat with elastromeric radial bearing and seat suspension eliminates vibration to the operator and prevents “topping out” and “bottoming out,” providing all-day ride comfort. FastCat Pro models feature the same commercial warranty as BOB-CAT’s larger ProCat and Predator-Pro models, with up to a 2-year/2,000-hour limited warranty plus lifetime parts and labor coverage on the frame and mower deck shell.
