Shindaiwa announces new warranty, money-back guarantee with product launch
Effective with January 2013 purchases, Shindaiwa announced on Feb. 11 the introduction of a 5-year consumer warranty and a 7-day money-back guarantee. The announcement coincided with the launch of 2 new Shindaiwa backpack blowers: the EB508RT and EB633RT.
The new 5-year consumer warranty is a natural progression for the Shindaiwa brand. For more than 50 years, Shindaiwa has manufactured high-performance outdoor power equipment for professional users and discerning homeowners around the world. It doubled its commercial warranty to 2 years in January 2010.
The 7-day money-back guarantee program was crafted to encourage consumers and professional users to try the Shindaiwa brand. If the product does not live up to expectations, the customer has 7 days to return it to the dealer for a full refund with no questions asked. The program does not apply to accessory or parts purchases.
Both programs were introduced with the launch of the EB508RT and EB633RT blowers, economically priced to attract new and existing users. Combining dependability and comfort with economical performance, the EB508RT backpack blower uses a 50.8-cc, professional-grade, stratified technology, 2-stroke engine. The EB633RT is a commercial-duty backpack blower with excellent performance using a 63.3-cc, professional-grade, 2-stroke engine.
