WORX extends warranty on all electric-powered tools

WORX, a Charlotte, N.C.-based manufacturer of electric outdoor power equipment and handheld power tools, has announced that it has extended the warranty on its products from two years to three years, provided that the customer registers the tool within 30 days of purchase.

Specifically, if the registered tool becomes defective within three years of the date of purchase, WORX will:

Replace or repair all defective parts, free of charge, or,
Repair the tool free of charge, or,
Replace the tool with a new or reconditioned tool, free of charge.

This warranty extension is valid on tools purchased on or after June 1, 2013.
