Michelin Introduces New X Tweel Turf Sizes
Michelin North America is adding to the portfolio of its Tweel airless radial line. Michelin will introduce new Turf products coming to the commercial zero-turn radius (ZTR) line.
Available as original equipment or as an aftermarket fitment, operators of John Deere ZTrak 900 Series ZTR mowers with 48-in. mower decks can buy the X Tweel Turf airless solution using 24-in., rear tire/wheels with 4×4-in. bolt-pattern hubs for their commercial mowers. The 24x12N12 size 4×4-in. bolt pattern has a 750-pound load capacity.
Operators of Kubota Z700 Series mowers with 54-in. and 60-in. mower decks can buy the X Tweel Turf airless solution using 24-inch, rear tire/wheels with 5-4.5-in. bolt-pattern hubs for their commercial mowers. The 24x12N12 size has a 750-pound load capacity and is available as original equipment or aftermarket.
In addition, the 15-in. X Tweel Turf caster is now available to accompany large diesel ZTR mowers that use a 26-in. rear drive tire. The 15x6N6 size configuration is designed to provide enhanced performance and more stability with its flat, smooth tread design and has a load capacity of 370 pounds and a 16-mph speed rating. It fits a large range of mowers, including:
