Farm Services Inc. donates Ferris mowers to Camp Victory Junction

This summer, as kids enjoy their time at Camp Victory Junction in Randleman, North Carolina, the grounds there will be in tip-top shape thanks to a donation of four Ferris zero-turn mowers from Farm Services, Inc.

Spread across more than 80 acres, Camp Victory Junction was created in memory of NASCAR driver Adam Petty to provide life-changing camping opportunities for children with severe medical conditions. The camp, which opened its doors in 2004, is designed to foster independence, inspire confidence, and build self-esteem for the campers and is available at no cost to children or their families.

Farm Services Inc. owner Chuck Talley, who donated the four mowers, says that it was an honor to help Camp Victory Junction: “Every day we take things like health and mobility for granted, and I am overwhelmed by the empowering opportunities that the camp creates for the kids.”

Talley visited the camp when he delivered the four mowers and returned for the initial service on the zero-turns. He’ll continue to visit to service the mowers after every 100 hours of use.

Talley and his wife Jennifer Talley, who is mayor of Graham, are very committed to the community and give back through supporting several local organizations and events. The gift of the Ferris mowers to Camp Victory Junction is a continuation of that spirit, she says: “I believe blessings come back to you. What you get back is so much more than what you’re giving.”
