Blount County Tractor & Equipment, Oneonta, Alabama, is now under new ownership, reports The Blount Countian. New owners Keith Fallin and Roger Graves are joined by new general manager Josh Fallin. “This business is about building relationships, and you do that by going above and beyond,” says Josh Fallin. The dealership, which offers Kubota, Land Pride and other lines, held a ribbon cutting event at the dealership in early June.
Terry County Tractor, with locations in Brownfield and Lubbock, Texas, has announced it is committing to provide funding and equipment for the Lubbock County Expo Center, slated to open in 2025, reports the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. On its Facebook page, the dealership states: “We at Terry County Tractor are proud to support the Lubbock County Expo Center and its part in helping serve and promote youth in agriculture. For those of you that know us, community, youth, and agriculture are some of our most deeply rooted passions!”
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Paris, Tennessee, has officially changed its name to Tennessee College of Applied Technology Henry/Carroll, recognizing its broader service area, according to the Tennessee Tribune. TCAT’s Outdoor Power Equipment Repair program comprises both certificate programs – outdoor power equipment repair mechanic and outdoor power equipment mechanic assistant – and a diploma program – outdoor power equipment technician.
Cola Sales, a Kubota Elite dealer based in Ravenna, Ohio, notes on its Facebook page that “We have partnered with local farmers to help maintain the areas around our airfield [Akron-Canton Airport, CAK]! We’re excited to continue this agricultural partnership within the community.” Cola Sales offers tractors, mowers, outdoor power equipment, hay/farm implements, UTVs and more.
Sebert Landscape, a commercial landscape contractor serving Chicagoland and southeastern Wisconsin, has added RC Mowers’ Autonomous Mowing Robots to its fleet of lawncare equipment. “I’m so proud to be one of the first companies to deploy this new technology,” says Jeff Sebert, founder and CEO. “Our business model has always seen to it that we remain on the cutting edge of sustainability, innovation and green technology. This self-driving mower will fit right in with our goal of taking a lean operational approach to landscaping.”
AriensCo has donated a new Gravely 360 mower to Lincoln County High School (LCHS) in Fayetteville, Tennessee, reports the Elk Valley Times. “AriensCo has expanded operations into Tennessee and company leaders said they are happy to give back to the Lincoln County community,” the publisher states on its Twitter account.
The 2023 Pink Ladies’ Tractor Road Run will take place on Sunday, July 2 at Thorpe Abbotts Airfield in Norfolk, England. Boasting more than 100 tractors, all decked out in pink, the event aims to help support breast cancer research. Since it began in 2004, the event has collected more than £812,000 (more than $1 million) in aid.
Cadman Power Equipment, Ontario, Canada, has received the 2023 Long Standing Business Award from the Delhi & District Chamber of Commerce. Founded in 1952 as a retailer of lawnmowers and other garden equipment, Cadman transitioned to designing and manufacturing tobacco-farming equipment in the 1960s and, later, irrigation equipment. Today, the company is a designer, manufacturer and global distributor of irrigation and manure-management systems, and high-volume fluid transfer solutions.
FIRA USA 2023 will take place September 19-21 at the Salinas Sports Complex in Salinas, California. The three-day event for autonomous farming and robotic ag solutions will showcase robotic solutions from companies including Monarch Tractor, Agtonomy, Bosch, Mantis, Bluewhite, SeedSpider, GUSS Automation, Verdant Robotics and others.
