Curtis unveils new A/C Cab for Deere Z

Curtis Cab introduces its premium air-conditioned cab for the John Deere Z970R zero-turn mower. The new cab fits John Deere Ztrak Z970R with 60-in. or 72-in. 7-Iron Pro side-discharge mower decks.

The air-conditioned operator enclosure comes fully assembled to drop on to the mower. It’s made of lightweight aluminum and features a scratch-resistant polycarbonate windshield and doors. The poly is heat-treated and tinted. It uses weather-tight seal around the perimeter to keep out dust.

The large side doors are hinged at the rear, plus they’re lockable and can be removed quickly. Curtis calls the air-conditioning “automotive style,” and it is fully charged with a mechanically driven compressor. The cab maintains easy access to the fuel tank.

The new cab is not compatible with rear discharge mowers, mulch kits, grass catchers, or Tweel-mounted machines. It retails for around $11,600.
