The OPE manfacturer is establishing a multi-car factory team. The newly formed Scag Racing make their debut burnouts during the opening event of the 2024 season, the NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida, fielding a formidable three-car lineup.
Dragzine.com reports that Scag has taken ownership of the Maynard Ashley Racing and Maynard Wilkerson Racing teams, consolidating their resources for a collective impact. Under the banner of Scag Wilkerson Racing, the Scag Funny Car is set to hit the tracks with a renewed vigor. Meanwhile, the Scag Top Fuel car will be under the expert management of Justin Ashley, supported by the accomplished duo of Mike Green and Tommy DeLago.
