Campbell Tree Experts, Inc.

For more than 30 years, Campbell Tree Experts has provided tree and shrub care services in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The acquisition of Campbell strengthens the capabilities of the existing Bartlett Tree Experts local office team in Ottawa, deepening its capabilities to provide exceptional scientific tree care solutions for new and existing customers.

“Bartlett Tree Experts continues to expand our scientific tree and shrub care services with a focus on quality work and client satisfaction,” said Jim Ingram, president and chief operating officer of Bartlett Tree Experts. “We are excited to welcome the Campbell team into our Ottawa office.”

With the acquisition, Campbell founders Glen Campbell and his wife, Lynn Arbour-Campbell, both ISA-certified arborists, have joined Bartlett’s Ottawa office along with their team of six production arborists.

Noah Violini, vice president of Bartlett’s operations in Canada, said, “The growth of our Ottawa office expands Bartlett’s ability to service more clients in the province of Ontario, which will help improve the health and beauty of their trees and landscapes.”

Halls Tree and Shrub Care, Inc.

Since 2008, Halls Tree and Shrub Care has provided tree and shrub care for residential and commercial clients in Nassau and Suffolk counties. With the acquisition, owner Michael Hall has joined Bartlett in its Westbury and Farmingdale offices to support the transition.

Hall says he was impressed that Bartlett is a family business that has been a leader in the industry for nearly 118 years. Hall also values the essential support of the Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories in providing Bartlett’s certified arborists with the most advanced tree care solutions available.

“We are excited to announce our acquisition of Halls Tree and Shrub Care because it allows us to expand our full range of scientific tree care services while continuing to honor our commitment to exceptional safety, science, technology and business,” said Ingram.

Rick Daniels, vice president of Bartlett’s operations on Long Island, said, “Expanding our scientific tree and shrub health care services for more of the island’s residential and commercial property owners will go a long way toward improving the health and beauty of their landscapes.”

Bartlett recently bolstered its presence on Long Island by adding a new office in Riverhead in 2023. Bartlett also operates from office locations in Farmingdale, Southampton and Westbury.
