Same-store sales report, October 2024
We publish these same-store sales reports monthly to show both a snapshot and a trendline of retail sales activity at OPE dealerships in North America. For October 2024, the U.S. as a whole saw a 7 % increase compared to the same month last year, seemingly on the strength of one region of the country.
Dealers in the Southern U.S. earned large increases in both wholegood and parts sales, while dealers in the other regions saw mostly declines.
Parts sales saw growth in most regions, while service and wholegood sales suffered, other than in the south.
