Sakrete announces season 2 of Concrete Combat

Sakrete, Oldcastle APG’s bagged concrete materials brand, announced the second season of its reality competition show, Concrete Combat. Premiering December 20 on Roku TV, the new season brings together eight teams of professional contractors to compete for $10,000 and a chance to attend World of Concrete 2025 in Las Vegas.

“We are incredibly excited to bring back Concrete Combat for another exciting season,” said Dave Jackson, senior brand manager, Sakrete. “Concrete Combat is a celebration of the men and women in the trades – a critical sector that is too often overlooked. We feel strongly that if bakers, blacksmiths, chefs and ice road truckers have a show dedicated to their craft, concrete pros should too – and we took it on ourselves to make that a reality.”

Season two features six episodes with different challenges utilizing Sakrete bagged concrete materials, as well as additional Oldcastle APG brands like Belgard hardscapes, bringing new elements into this year’s competition. Projects this season include an overlay paver project, full outdoor kitchen, and the Skatepark Showdown, the show’s first “battle royale” challenge where participants were asked to build a skate park quarterpipe.

“The challenges we’ve presented to our competitors this year were a chance for them to really put their skills to the test,” said Jackson. “We wanted to integrate materials and products other than concrete to give both our competitors and viewers a fun and well-rounded experience. This was a huge opportunity for the teams to push themselves and highlight just how many hats contractors wear during any given project. Season two is filled with talented contractors, and we can’t wait for everyone to see them compete.”

Competing teams this year include returning champions from season 1 Concrete Mike LLC, Padron Building Services, TAS Concrete, Collective Concrete & Construction, Favors Concrete, Grindline Skateparks and two teams of independent contractors. Season two also will see the return of judges Mike Day, owner of Day’s Concrete Floors and host of All About Concrete; Jose Garcia, owner of Garcia Concrete LLC; and Pat McClain, owner of Chihuahua Custom Concrete in Atlanta, Ga.

Season two of Concrete Combat is available now on Roku TV and the Sakrete YouTube channel. Season 1 of Concrete Combat is also available on YouTube.
