Bryant Van Meeteren named general manager of Exmark and Spartan

Bryant Van Meeteren has been named as the new general manager for Exmark and Spartan.

According to Greg Janey, group vice president, landscapes and contractor of The Toro Company (TTC), Van Meeteren’s forward-thinking and action-oriented approach, coupled with his growth mindset, position him perfectly to lead the Exmark and Spartan brands into their next chapter.

“Bryant embodies TTC culture and values, across the organization and in the Beatrice community,” said Janey. “His unique background and his expertise in supply chain operations provide a critical dimension of diversity in thought, enhancing our integrated approach to business strategy and operational excellence.”

Van Meeteren has been with The Toro Company since 2020. First hired as the director of operations at Exmark in Beatrice, he was subsequently promoted to managing director of TTC Northern Operations in 2022. There, he demonstrated his expertise in supply chain management as he led the company through a wide variety of post-pandemic supply issues.

In 2024, Van Meeteren was promoted to senior managing director, operations excellence. In that role, he worked to ensure efficiency and consistency in planning, manufacturing, quality, lean and materials management across TTC manufacturing locations in North America.

Van Meeteren holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa, and a Master of Business Administration, with a focus on supply chain management, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
