Same store sales report shows consistent decline
We publish these same-store sales reports to show both a snapshot and a trendline of retail sales activity at OPE and Tractor dealerships in North America. For May 2025, OPE dealers showed a drop of 3% compared to the same period last year. Tractor dealers in the U.S., showed a similar decline with nationwide sales off 4% compared to last year at the same time. Canadian tractor dealers realized a 32% sales gain year on year.
OPE sales
For OPE dealers, the Southern U.S. saw some positive activity with a 1% gain in wholegoods sales. Dealers in the Western U.S., meanwhile, struggled in wholegoods and service.
Tractor sales
For U.S. tractor dealers, service was a revenue bright spot for most regions in the U.S., while parts and wholegoods sales declined.
