Equip Exposition sells out exhibit space for fifth consecutive year

Exhibit space for the 2026 Equip Exposition has sold out, marking the fifth consecutive year the trade show has filled all available exhibit space at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

The annual event, owned and managed by the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, is scheduled for Oct. 20-23 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

“We have 1.2 million square feet of exhibit space, including the Outdoor Demo Yard. Every inch of the Kentucky Exposition Center that can be used for exhibit space is now sold,” says Kris Kiser, President & CEO of OPEI. “That translates to more than a square mile of exhibits, or the equivalent of 20 football fields. There are thousands of products and services that can help landscapers, contractors and dealers expand and better their business.”

According to organizers, the final exhibit space for the 2026 show was sold in May. The last booth for the 2025 event was sold in June, while the final spaces for the 2024 and 2023 shows were sold in August and early October, respectively.

Organizers said demand for exhibit space has prompted efforts to expand and reconfigure available areas within the Kentucky Exposition Center. In 2025, Freedom Hall was opened for exhibits for the first time. Organizers also expanded and relocated the UTV Test Track.

“Equip is epic, and people are excited to be at the show and part of this dynamic industry. This is the place where innovators roll out new products and talk about where this industry is headed. It’s where landscape contractors try out new equipment and meet the people who design and make it,” says Kiser.

The 2025 event drew nearly 30,000 registrants, according to organizers, setting a new attendance record for the show.
