ENM introduces self-powered engine meter and battery monitoring products
ENM Co. is expanding its lineup of monitoring products for outdoor power equipment with a self-powered engine tachometer/hour meter and a multifunction battery monitoring system designed for gasoline- and battery-powered equipment.
The company’s PT17 Series self-powered digital tachometer, maintenance timer and hour meter tracks engine RPM and operating hours for gasoline engines. Powered by an internal replaceable CR2032 lithium battery, the unit requires no external power connection and uses a lead wrapped around the spark plug wire to detect engine operation. The meter displays real-time engine RPM while the engine is running and records operating hours for maintenance tracking.
The PT17 Series features programmable maintenance intervals, a non-resettable total hour meter, an IP67 splash-proof rating and supports multiple engine firing patterns for a range of gasoline engine configurations. The unit also stores maximum engine RPM, job hours and maintenance reminders.
ENM also offers the PT33 Series LCD Battery Indicator, a multifunction display for battery-powered equipment that combines a battery level indicator, voltage monitor, hour meter and service timer. The unit supports battery systems from 12 to 48 volts and is compatible with lead-acid, GEL, LiFePO4 and AGM batteries. It automatically detects system voltage and includes programmable battery discharge curves to accommodate different battery types.
Additional PT33 features include programmable service intervals, high- and low-voltage warnings, a 10-LED battery indicator with service and alarm alerts, optional backlighting and an IP65 waterproof rating.
