Meyer Distributing adds Carlstar Group to specialty tire lineup

Meyer Distributing has expanded its outdoor power equipment specialty product lineup through a new partnership with The Carlstar Group, a global producer of specialty tires and wheels.

The partnership added Carlstar-branded tires and wheels to Meyer’s offerings for a range of applications, including lawn and garden, ATV/UTV, trailers and haulers, agriculture, construction and industrial equipment.

The Carlstar portfolio also includes products for tube and flap applications.

“This expanded partnership strengthens our ability to put Carlstar-branded and Titan Specialty products within reach of more customers across North America,” claims Chris Daum, general manager, OPE market segment, Titan International Inc.

Mike Merder, category sales manager for outdoor power equipment at Meyer, said the partnership gave the company an opportunity to add an established brand to its product offerings.
