Honda Pioneer 700 and Pioneer 520 return for 2027 model year
American Honda has announced the return of its Pioneer 700 and Pioneer 520 multipurpose side-by-sides for the 2027 model year.
The Pioneer 700 lineup includes six versions with two-seat and four-seat configurations, giving customers options for recreational use, property maintenance and other utility applications. The Pioneer 520 offers a more compact package designed to navigate narrow trails and fit in the bed of many full-size pickup trucks.
“The Pioneer 700 and Pioneer 520 continue to embody Honda’s commitment to building side-by-sides that are as capable at work as they are on the trail,” said Colin Miller, Manager of Experiential Marketing at American Honda. “From hauling supplies around the farm to exploring backcountry trails, these models are designed to deliver the versatility and reliability that Honda customers expect.”
Pioneer 700
The Pioneer 700 is available in three trim levels across two-seat and four-seat configurations. It is powered by a 675cc single-cylinder engine and features long-travel suspension and storage capacity for hauling cargo.
The 2027 lineup includes the Pioneer 700, Pioneer 700-4, Pioneer 700 Deluxe, Pioneer 700-4 Deluxe, Pioneer 700 Forest and Pioneer 700-4 Forest.
MSRPs range from $12,899 for the Pioneer 700 to $17,999 for the Pioneer 700-4 Forest. The models will be available in September.
Available colors include Hero Red, Black Forest Green and TrueTimber Atera Camo, depending on the model.
Pioneer 520
The Pioneer 520 is designed for customers seeking utility and maneuverability in a compact side-by-side. Its smaller footprint allows it to navigate narrow trails and fit in the bed of a full-size pickup truck while providing capability for work around farms and properties.
The Pioneer 520 will be available in Hero Red, Black Forest Green and Matte Cactus Green. MSRP has not yet been announced. The model will be available in September.
Honda said both the Pioneer 700 and Pioneer 520 are designed, developed and built in the U.S. using domestic and globally sourced parts.
