Kawasaki announces new district manager
Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. announced July 9 that Tim Hogan recently joined its Engines and Power Products Division’s field sales team as a district manager. Hogan will be responsible for supporting retailers of Kawasaki’s products in a northeast territory that includes Long Island, N.Y.; New Jersey; and Pennsylvania.
Hogan, who possesses more than 20 years of retail experience, will join a sales team that has helped Kawasaki grow its general-purpose engines and handheld power products business substantially over the past few years. His first-hand knowledge of the issues faced by the dealer community will be an asset as the company develops plans to enhance future business development.
“My varied background in the outdoor power equipment retailing business will help to cultivate new relationships, as well as build upon the existing prosperous relationships that exist between Kawasaki and its dealer base,” said Hogan.
Most recently, Hogan, who is married and has two teenage sons, worked for 13 years with Long Island Power Equipment in Hicksville and Massapequa, N.Y. He also served as a manager for eight years at Empire Power Tools in Patterson, N.Y.
