Ariens Company announces GIE+EXPO prize winners

Two lucky landscape contractors won valuable prizes from Ariens Company at GIE+EXPO 2013. An Ariens Razor 21-inch walk-behind mower and Richard Petty prize package valued at a total of more than $800 were given away.

“We were pleased with the turnout at the show this year and with all of the entries we received,” said Mike Van Helvoirt, Ariens Company residential product marketing manager. “It’s always great to meet current and prospective customers one-on-one in the booth.”

David Gingerich with Jimmy Lawn Care of Junction City, Wis., received the Ariens Razor Blade Brake Clutch (BBC) version of the walk-behind valued at $448. The BBC option allows the engine to run while the blade is stopped, making starting easier and operation safer. Operators can also more easily move obstacles or empty grass bags while working.

Josh Pitman of Sanctuary Landscapes & Lawncare in Paducah, Ky., won the Richard Petty prize package, including a Petty-framed, limited edition, autographed chromium lithograph and a life-sized cutout of the King, along with a die-cast Gravely NASCAR replica valued at $400.

Booth attendees could sign up to win prizes in Ariens Company’s indoor and outdoor booths. Other giveaways included a Gravely Edger, Gravely XD3 21-inch self-propelled mower, Gravely Pro-Trim string trimmer, Gravely Commercial 21-inch mower and a grand-prize Gravely Pro-Turn 148 commercial zero-turn mower.

“We appreciate all of the dealers and landscape contractors who make the investment to attend GIE,” added Helvoirt. “The giveaways are a small way for us to thank our booth visitors and customers.”
