Briggs production shift will bring 200 jobs to New York: report

Briggs & Stratton Corp. is shifting “production of its lawn tractor, residential zero-turn mower, snow thrower and pressure washer products,” according to a report on the Utica Observer-Dispatch’s website in Utica, New York.

The uticaod.com story reports that the move from the Briggs & Stratton facility in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, to its Central New York operations will begin at the end of August, bringing 200 jobs to the region.
