NALP Foundation receives $750,000 pledge from Kehoe Foundation, largest gift in its history
The NALP Foundation said it has received a $750,000 pledge from the Kevin and Lorraine Kehoe Foundation, the largest commitment in its history.
The gift will be distributed in three annual installments of $250,000 from 2026 through 2028. According to the foundation, the funding will support initiatives connected to the National Collegiate Landscape Competition, including the Student Leadership Luncheon, Scholarship Recognition Breakfast and Business and Leadership Workshops.
The NALP Foundation said the programs are designed to provide students with access to industry leaders, professional development opportunities and recognition for academic and competitive achievement.
“This extraordinary commitment reflects a deep belief in the future of the landscape profession,” said Paul Fraynd, President of the NALP Foundation. “The Kehoe Foundation’s investment will directly impact students as they prepare to enter and lead our industry.”
The Kevin and Lorraine Kehoe Foundation has supported the NALP Foundation during the past four years. The organization said the new pledge will strengthen several initiatives tied to the collegiate competition.
The Kevin and Lorraine Kehoe Foundation was established in connection with Kevin Kehoe’s career in the landscape and snow management industries.
“Kevin built his career on trust and genuine friendships,” said Lorraine Kehoe. “This gift honors his values, legacy and those relationships and helps carry his legacy forward.”
In addition to its support of landscape industry programs, the Kevin and Lorraine Kehoe Foundation funds charitable initiatives in education, cancer research and veterans causes.
