Muehlhauser named chairman of NAEDA’s OPE Dealer Council

Scott Muehlhauser of St. Louis, Mo., was recently selected chairman of the North American Equipment Dealers Association’s (NAEDA) Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) Dealer Council and will serve in that capacity for the next two years. He replaces J.P. Bliss of East Peoria, Ill.

Muehlhauser manages Scott’s Power Equipment, Inc., which caters primarily to the commercial and municipal landscape industry. He has been involved in the OPE industry for more than 30 years, starting his own business 11 years ago. He has expanded it to four locations: three in Missouri and one in Illinois.

In addition to serving as council chairman, Muehlhauser will represent OPE dealers on NAEDA’s board of directors. Muehlhauser is a member of the SouthWestern Association.

The OPE Dealer Council is made up of NAEDA-affiliated dealers who advise the association on matters related to the OPE industry. The council also works with manufacturers and other trade associations on industry issues.
