KIOTI enters mini excavator market with MX Series

KIOTI Tractor has entered the mini excavator market with the introduction of its MX Series compact excavators.

The launch expands the company’s compact construction equipment lineup following the introduction of its SL750 skid steer loaders and TL750 compact track loaders.

The MX Series includes three models: the MX350 and MX350 extended arm models in the 3.5-ton class and the MX570 in the 5.7-ton class.

According to the company, the machines come standard with an angle blade, thumb, auxiliary hydraulics and a mechanical quick coupler. The excavators also feature multi-function hydraulic systems designed to allow simultaneous machine movements.

“The MX Series provides what today’s contractors are asking for – equipment that is immediately ready for use,” said Joel Hicks, product line manager at KIOTI. “By standardizing the features operators use every day, we’re delivering greater value, productivity, and a lower total cost of ownership for operators in a variety of fields.”

The company said the excavators include reinforced structures, protected components and load-holding valves intended to support operation in demanding work environments. The MX350 features a zero-tail swing design, while the MX350 extended arm and MX570 use a reduced-tail swing configuration.

KIOTI said the machines are intended for use by farmers, contractors, municipalities and large property owners.

The company said the MX Series will be supported through its dealer network and parts distribution system in North America.
