Poteet, Texas – Tuttle Outdoor Power (www.tuttleoutdoorpower.com) has broken ground on its future location in Pleasanton, Texas, about eight miles north of its current location. The dealership estimates completion for the new Tuttle Outdoor Power location is November, with a move-in by January or February 2023. “The Tuttle brand will be 90 years strong next year … This legacy will continue from eight miles away and will shine through our new doors. These 36 acres will be able to give our business the room to grow and hold even more inventory,” the dealership notes on its Facebook page.
Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin – Hupke Power Center (www.hupkepowercenter.com) has joined the Fort Atkinson Chamber of Commerce. Don and Dion Hupke, a father and son duo, opened their shop in June 2021. “We provide diagnostics and services to all different types of outdoor power equipment as well as OEM and aftermarket parts sales,” says Dion Hupke. “We also offer a pickup and delivery service … and chain sharpening, as well as mower blade sharpening and balancing.”
Fort Dodge, Iowa – The Iowa Outdoors Hardware and Rental Store (www.iowaoutdoorstore.com) began as an outdoor sporting goods store, added hardware in 2016, and recently added LS tractors and Toro to complement its OPE roster. The family-owned company also owns and manages three publications, including American Cattlemen magazine. “We are looking to expand in all of our lines. There is growth in the power sports and power equipment areas,” says owner Gale McKinney in a recent article in The Messenger.
Comanche, Texas – Clark Tractor and Supply has been acquired by Tellus Equipment Solutions (www.tellusequip.com). Founded in 1958, Clark Tractor is a family-owned and operated John Deere dealership. “The acquisition of Clark will increase Tellus Equipment’s territory footprint and will accelerate the company’s growth plans in Texas,” notes Tellus, which operates 24 full-service dealership stores. “Tellus will continue to service customers across its current territory footprint in Comanche, De Leon and the surrounding communities….”
Perry, Georgia – Mason Tractor Company (www.masontractor.com), a multi-unit dealership based in Blue Ridge, Georgia, has a new location in Perry, Georgia. “We will be operating out of the former Walker-Rhodes location, states the dealership on its Facebook page. “Our team looks forward to assisting the Middle GA community!” A third-generation dealership founded in 1940, Mason Tractor now has seven locations throughout Georgia; its product lines include Kubota, Exmark, Stihl, Kawasaki, Buffalo Turbine, Vermeer and others.
Bellevue, Ohio – MJD Motorsports (www.mjdmotorsports.com) has become an authorized Bobcat dealer. Founded by Mike Dauch in 2000, MJD has been at its present location since 2012. In addition to Bobcat, the dealership’s lines include Spartan mowers, Simplicity mowers and snow blowers, Ariens mowers, Gravely mowers and UTVs and Intimidator UTVs.
Watertown, South Dakota – Fieber Van’s Implement (www.fiebervans.com) won two awards at the annual PFG America/Deutz-Fahr dealer conference. Fieber Van’s won its awards for Sales – New Dealer and for Outstanding Dealer Service. Chris Fieber and Donald Fieber of Goodwin, South Dakota, partnered with Van’s Implement of Hull, Iowa, to open Fieber Van’s Implement in December 2020. The dealership carries ag equipment, lawn and garden, construction equipment, side-by-sides and more.
